luratec AG successful again in berlin-schönefeld
[june 2010] "luratec AG’s participation at ila’s international suppliers center (isc) in berlin-schönefeld has been a whole success" ceo hans-jürgen henneke sums up.
like in previous years, many acknowledged industry experts joined the the exhibition stand of luratec AG to discuss on-going and future projects. stand visitors, especially members of airbus involved in the A350-project, were particularly interested in the exhibited cfrp test samples for the next airbus generation. the additional center tank project, which was introduced by ceo hans-jürgen henneke at an ila conference, convinced in every aspect – with its considerably lighter weight and its LD3 compatibilty, the cfrp tank is of interest to producers as well as airlines.
a further important topic at the fair was the p2f-project which is done by luratec AG in cooperation with the afc – airbus freighter conversion gmbh and the irkut corporation. luratec AG’s involvement in the project encompasses gfrp air ducts. many interesting, project-relevant talks were held, e.g. with igor timirov (irkut corporation) and lars becker (managing director of afc).
despite the positive review of the past exhibition days, luratec AG ceo hans-jürgen henneke has cause for criticism: "the expert audience, consisisting of economic experts and political leaders, was qualified and interested, but they represented only half of the visitors of ila 2010. the number of «casual visitors» has increased enormously. in regard to the record attendance, this might be in the trade fair organizers’ interest, but for the isc – international suppliers center it would be more favourable if visitors could be restricted to trade visitors only."
