aviation technology – "made light"

luratec AG is a competent and acknowledged partner of the european aviation industry. besides developing and designing synthetic components made of fibre-reinforced composites, luratec AG also takes – as risk-share-partner – responsibility for single components, modules or complete systems such as inner side walls and air conditioning pipes or what is known as structural components. components made by luratec AG will be delivered to the customer’s aircraft final assembly line or maintenance in time and ready to be installed. the series production is complemented by the production of special components, prototypes and innovative cabin solutions for business and vip-liners.

besides handling with glass fibre (gfrp), carbon fibre (cfrp) and aramide fibre (afrp), luratec AG also owns a wide knowledge in the field of sandwich-elements made of light metals in combination with carbon fibre and developes, in co-operation with an industrial partner and the institute for lightweight construction at the university of rostock, composites made of renewable raw materials for the aviation industry.
