luratec AG successful again at ila 2012
[september 2012] luratec AG once again attended the «isc – international suppliers center» at «ila berlin air show 2012» with its own exhibition stand. according to luratec-ceo hans-jürgen henneke, the exhibition has been a huge success. this success is due to two factors. for one, the location in the newly built exhibition hall 6 on the premises of the new airport berlin-brandenburg was perfectly chosen. "unlike recent years, when we were housed in an exhibition tent where talk was near impossible due to the roar of aircrafts during air shows, we had the perfect, quiet spot this year." hans-jürgen henneke explains. for two, the visitor profile has undergone significant change and greatly improved. "we don't put importance on the number of visitors, but on the quality of visitors roaming the show floors, and in this regard we were not disappointed." henneke adds.
as in previous years, many known faces of the aerospace industry stopped by at the stand of luratec AG to chat with the luratec staff members about current or future projects. among them was harry glaw, minister of economics, construction and tourism of the state mecklenburg-western pomerania, who seized the opportunity to talk to hans-jürgen henneke about the exemplary success story of luratec AG. he, as well as many other visitors, showed special interest in the exhibited cfrp test samples luratec designs and produces for the research and development department of airbus.
